Thank you to Jamie Kovacs for taking the time today to provide an update from the Fire Marshal Public Fire Safety Council! For those who might not be aware, there is a $750,000 grant over the next three years for training resources to assist with mandatory certification. The FMPFSC is administering this process on a not-for-profit basis, and has also negotiated pricing with Jones & Bartlett and IFSTA to make the grant go further.
BUT! There is a survey that you need to complete to take advantage of this grant! Please see below for documents related to this grant application process. Please be advised... IT IS TIME SENSITIVE! The deadline for the survey is Friday October 5th! Please ensure that you complete the application with your Fire Chief or designate so that only one application is submitted per department.
